    OPEN AUDITIONS FOR 2013-14 BLAZERDANCERS SET FOR JULY 13-14
    Media invited to cover the first round of auditions on July 13

    WHAT The Portland Trail Blazers are seeking energetic, talented dancers to participate in the 2013-14 BlazerDancers open auditions.

    WHEN The first two rounds of auditions will be held on Saturday, July 13. Round three will be held on Sunday, July 14. The finals will be held on Saturday, July 20. (Additional details below.)

    The first round of auditions is open to the media on Saturday, July 13 from 10 a.m. – Noon

    WHERE Portland Community College (PCC) Sylvania Campus
    Health Technology Building (HT)
    12000 SW 49th Ave
    Portland, OR 97219

    Additional Details: All applicants must be 18 years of age by October 1, 2013. During the preliminary rounds, dancers will learn at least three routines and perform them in small groups in front of a panel of judges. The judges will make cuts after each routine. Approximately 35-40 finalists will be selected at the end of the preliminary rounds to continue to the finals on July 20th. Finalists will also be required to come in for interviews July 18th or 19th.

    My first thought was that HCP got the fever from overseeing that wedding on draft night and was ready to go full on Catholic priest.
