<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>There's nothing wrong with PJ, but he's not what you call an inside thread. And playing alongside Ben Wallace, that would come in handy. No Rasheed Wallace here.I can imagine PJ coming off the bench, backing up Wallace.</div> PJ is still their best option to start at power forward, and I think he fits well alongside Ben because of his ability to hit the open midrange. I think your looking too much at inside threat.

Not to me. I just think Pistons fans are a little upset at the thought that they might now win the division this year. I don't think this team will win the Finals or even get there but I think they will end up in the ECF and have a chance(just like every team does in the playoffs) to beat Miami. Yeah, they are going to have some major chemistry issues having a few new players(2 of them veterans who only will work hard and play D) while the Suns had a brand new team with a whole bunch of young guys and were find after the first few weeks.

Billups was an MVP candidate, he is top 3 in clutchitivity, he can score at will, better shooter, better passer, superior player to Kirk Hinrich right now. Gordon is a streak scorer, while you can write Richard Hamilton down for 20 a night. Chauncey and Rip have proven themselves to be all stars, Kirk and Gordon haven't, and stats wise, Rip and Chauncey win in that category too.2. Don't forget Antonio McDyess at power forward for us either, he has been in the top 5 for 6th man for the last two years.3. <span style="font-size:12pt;line-height:100%">THE BULLS ARE NOT BETTER THEN THE PISTONS UNTIL PROVEN OTHERWISE</span>You sit here and call Piston fans bias, when in acctuallity you are the one telling us who is better, without even seeing the team play a single game! You act like the Piston fans are super bitter still, well most of us have gotten over it, I know I have because I am excited for this new season to start, so stop telling us how pissed we are still that Ben is gone, because as much as you may think you know, you don't.</div>I'll be laughing at you when the Chicago Bulls finish with a better record than the Detroit Pistons. You have a slightly better back court but we have much more potential in our backcourt. While Chauncey Billups and Richard Hamilton are slowly on the decline, Kirk Hinrich and Ben Gordon are only getting better with every season. We have better small forwards because Andres Nocioni and Luol Deng together are much better than Tayshaun Prince and Alex Acker. In my personal opinion, Tyrus Thomas,P.J Brown, and Michael Sweetney combined will average better numbers than Rasheed Wallace,Antonio Mcdyess and Jason Maxiell. The center position isn't even a comparison, Ben Wallace was the heart and soul of the Detroit Pistons and your most valuable player and you can't replace a talent like that with Nazr Mohammed. We're just about even until the center position, we have the best defensive player and one of the best centers in the league while you have Nazr Mohammed who didn't recieve any playing time from the San Antonio Spurs in the playoffs because of his incosistency and soft body. Once the season comes rolling around and the Chicago Bulls finish with a better record than the Detroit Pistons I will come back to this thread and make sure to bump it up. <span style="font-size:24pt;line-height:100%">"I GUARANSHEED IT"</span>

Tyrus, PJ and Michael will probably not average as much as Sheed and Dyess, Dyess averaged the same amount Michael did and Sheed averaged 6 points more then Brown.Even with the addition of Ben, I still think Detroit is better. Chicago lacks experience and have never made it out of the first round in the last 6 years. We will just have to wait and see when the season comes exactly how good they are.

The "Guarensheed" is the funniest thing I have heard in a long time. Incidentally I think Both teams are over rated. -Big ben won't gel strait away and then will cause trouble by openly defying coach skiles and bereating team-mates-The Pistons will Implode, they wont have any interior D, Rasheed will Guarensheed that if he isn't traded he will stayt in his hummer and smoke weed during games. :HAHAHA:

However, I think they are overrated, because some are saying they will for sure be in the Finals. It's still a long road to the Finals. I think it's ridiculous to call anything at this point. I think it's a long shot even for the Pistons or Heat to be calling it at this point, even though they are proven teams. I do believe that the Bulls will be, at worst (barring injuries), in the second round. I don't think that's at all ridiculous. And I can definitely see them in the ECF or even the Finals. I don't guarantee that at all, though.

Ben wallace is not even effective on one side of the game. He's only effectitve on one portion of that part. He wasn't even the best post defender on the pistons. He's offensive game is absolutely worthless. The bulls didn't need more defense, they needed more offense. They didn't get it. To me, they are definitely overratedOne more thing, I can't believe I'm saying this (since I dislike the pistons) but this year I'll be rooting for them. I want them to show the world that they don't need Ben wallace and his overrated game.

No there not overrated. IF you look at how they played Vs the heat in the playoffs. Which the bulls did great. BUT we didnt have a big man. Bulls had sweetney playing center. Tyson had one good game that was it.Now that we add Ben wallace... Who but shaq on his a$$ with a block [IMG]... Ben wallace is better then every big man we got... Then we add PJ brown.... He isnt a BIG factor but he to will do better then our big guys did last season... Noc who broke up Vs the heat....... Deng who can now practice this summer which he couldnt last year.Kirk and Gordon getting better..... Bulls have a great bench.....If the bulls didnt have a great allaround team they wouldnt be talked about cause of wallace. If they really wasnt a good team people on ESPN would of been bashing the bulls.EDIT: Also I hear alot of people talkin about offense problems.....Ben 17ppgkirk 16ppgDeng 14ppgNoc 13ppg And those # could get better.......Kirk ,Ben and Noc all got 20ppg in the playoffs. which is also a great sign

Kidd and Carter are the best backcourt in the league and the Chicago Bulls are a step below them but will be much better in the future. Damnit, you know nothing and all you know is get your facts straight, ben wallace won't be good, etc. Stop being biased because if I had a poll with who will be the better team next season I gurantee that if Pistons fans couldn't vote the Chicago Bulls would win the poll. Yes, they're much better than Baron Davis and Jason Richardson. Nevermind, I mean they're better than Jason Richardson because Baron Davis isn't reliable and is the most injury prone player in the league. <span style="font-size:24pt;line-height:100%">Get Your Facts Straight.</span>

they arent overrated. its not like the Bulls only added Ben Wallace. many of your are completely disregarding the fact that they added Tyrus Thomas, Thabo Sefolosha, and PJ Brown. The Bulls were a pretty good team last year. With the addition of those three plus Ben Wallace they deserve to be considered one of the favorites in the east. The Bulls prolly played the Heat the best out of any team last year in the playoffs and that was with a extremely skinny and weak guy in chandler and a overweight 6-8 power forward whos speciality was definity not defense. Now they have a big man who is known for his defense and being capable of defending players like shaq. PJ Brown also brings another big man with good defensive skills.

I can tell you why the Chicago Bulls will contend for the NBA title. Very simple, if you look at the Detroit Pistons the year they won the title their lineup consisted ofChauncey Billups- 16.9 ppg 5.7 apg 1.08 spgI honestly think Kirk will average about the same numbers that Chauncey did in the 2003-2004 championship season. I expect Kirk to average about the same numbers or even better because he's a really talented player and I hope he's developed and continues to develop throughout the rest of the offseason.Richard "Rip" Hamilton- 17.6 ppg 4.0 apg 1.32 spgBen Gordon will average better numbers than Hamilton did in the 2003-2004 season. I can see Ben Gordon averaging 22 ppg,3 apg, and 1.50 spg next season and I'll think he'll really break out and become an all star caliber player.Tayshaun Prince- 10.3 ppg 4.8 rpgAndres Nocioni and Luol Deng will both average better numbers than those and we are more solid at the small forward position because we have Luol Deng and Andres Nocioni challenging each other through the season for the starting position.Rasheed "Sheed" Wallace- 16.0 ppg 6.8 rpg 1.79 bpgThis is the only position we lose out on face to face but I think PJ Brown,Michael Sweetney,Andres Nocioni, and Tyrus Thomas have what it takes to make up for that and the power forward position shouldn't be a problem because we'll have plenty of options to choose from so if one guys having an off night we'll have three other players to choose from to contribute.Ben Wallace- 9.5 ppg 12.80 rpg 3.04 bpgI expect about the same numbers from Big Ben next season.--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Our benches are about the same because they had Mike James,Mehmet Okur, and Williamson to contribute off the bench but we have Chris Duhon,Tyrus Thomas/PJ Brown, and Luol Deng/Andres Nocioni to match up and actually beat their bench because we simply have more options. Now that I do the comparisons I really see this team being similar to the Pistons team back when they won the title and I think if the Chicago Bulls win the title, this may be a great year to accomplish just that.

Yeah, compare the Pistons roster to the roster of 23 year olds with little experience.
