Re: Zimmerman Case - Lightening Rod I don't see any motive for the kid to seek out and attack Zimmerman. The 911 tape makes it clear the kid ran away toward the exit of the subdivision. Zimmerman had no business chasing the kid down. Once he caught him, something he did either caused the kid to attack him or he attacked the kid. He had a gun. He hunted the kid and shot him. The 911 tape is damning evidence.
Re: Zimmerman Case - Lightening Rod You're speculating wildly. If that were the case, you don't think the State of Florida would have argued it?
Re: Zimmerman Case - Lightening Rod I think Trayvon isn't alive to say whether it was self defense or not.
Re: Zimmerman Case - Lightening Rod Evidence? That isnt damning evidence at all. You are speculating without anything to back your shit up with. Just walking around seeing whats going on isnt enough for someone to attack zimmerman (which was presented at trial). The prosecution had zero evidence to go off on hoop fam
Re: Zimmerman Case - Lightening Rod Speculate away. What was the kid's motive for attacking Zimmerman?
Re: Zimmerman Case - Lightening Rod You obviously like to speculate, so here's a hypothetical. If Zimmerman hadn't used his gun, and Martin had killed Zimmerman, what would the legal ramifications be for Martin beating to death a man who was chasing him with a gun?
Re: Zimmerman Case - Lightening Rod Corpse. No doubt. The bullet from Zimmerman's gun killed him. No doubt.

Re: Zimmerman Case - Lightening Rod Sorry, you have no idea what you're talking about, if you actually followed the trial. The prosecution didn't even make that case of Zimmerman hunting him down, and no 911 call proved that was the case.
Re: Zimmerman Case - Lightening Rod Noffke: He's running? Which way is he running? Zimmerman: Down towards the other entrance to the neighborhood. Noffke: Which entrance is that that he's heading towards? Zimmerman: The back entrance…fucking [unintelligible]. Noffke: Are you following him? Zimmerman: Yeah Noffke: OK, we don't need you to do that. Zimmerman: OK. (he did anyway)
Re: Zimmerman Case - Lightening Rod I am not sure how that has anything to do with the discourse we are currently engaged in. Tell me, if I chase you down with a gun pointed at you and you get hostile with me and I kill you - how on Earth are they going to say you were doing it out of self-defense if the only account they have of our interaction is my account? Obviously, you cannot say you were scared for your life, thus you tried to disarm me... because you're dead. Hard to file an assault charge when you don't know what happened. Exactly why this man is walking free. He could be innocent, or he could be guilty. We don't know. We only have his size and some brief eyewitness accounts that see the tail end of the confrontation.
Re: Zimmerman Case - Lightening Rod Which is what this case came down to. Zimmerman is innocent until proven guilty, and there were too many unknowns for the prosecution to get a conviction. All we have is Zimmerman's account, which no doubt is probably biased and he could have easily left out key information damning to him (like say how the fight started, how it played out, when the gun was drawn, threats made, etc). In the end this case to me is the prosecution couldn't prove Zimmerman was guilty, not the defense proving Zimmerman was innocent.
Re: Zimmerman Case - Lightening Rod That's not what happened, though. The prosecution didn't even try to make that case. Did you even follow the trial? LOW INFO AMMURRRICAAA ... ObamaLand.
