The coach of the team from the prairies had the right idea, but the team from the wet coast had the answers. Edmonton Eskimos coach Kavis Reed made his team practice outdoors one day last week at Commonwealth Stadium, saying his team needed to work in inclement conditions even though they had played in a monsoon days earlier in Guelph, Ont. Sure enough, the weather wasn't any more favourable when the teams began the first end of a CFL doubleheader Saturday. But once quarterback Travis Lulay realized there was no point in giving the ball to anyone else, the B.C. Lions were showered with a 17-3 win.
