The Boston Celtics could be looking to trade Gerald Wallace and Kris Humphries, according to a report.

The Celtics currently have more than the maximum-allowed 15 players on their roster, thus the possibility of trades.

Humphries has one year and $12 million left on his contract; Wallace has three years and $30 million left on his deal.

Seems highly problematic to be able to trade either of those two. Can't be included in a package until after Sept. 12th. Cs need to reduce roster spots so they would have to find a partner with that much cap space or a large trade exception. Don't think there are many options out there.... Atlanta?

Its more likely that the Cs will trade Bass, Lee or maybe even Crawford to a team with a little cap space for a couple 2nd round picks way down the line.

looks like they are likely signing Pressey as well. which I think is great

I can see someone taking on Humphries expiring contract. But wallace, I think we're stuck with him.

Humphries' expiring contract should be great for the Celtics. Keep him and let him walk.

I agree if there is a trade I see it being either Bass or Lee to get us under the Luxury Tax. The only way we can unload Wallace is if it is a much bigger trade, where Danny makes them take Wallace in order to get the player they really want. Humphries has some trade value with his expiring contract, but we wouldn't be able to get much in return.
