To be fair, the Lakers have a whole bunch of players who have played professionally and aren't first or second year guys.

Lester Hudson is 28 years-old and has played extensively overseas, ffs. He's older than LMA.

Disappointing to see Robinson take that 18 ft jumper so quick. He certainly doesn't work toward his strengths. We've got outside shooters. Go down low and get the scrappy points with put backs! He's got 10 rebounds.

How come Chris Douglas-Roberts still gets to go by "CDR"? He's 26 years-old and is in summer league.

CJ certainly didn't have a great shooting game. And it wasn't because of any special defense. He just missed some shots he should/could have made. When that happened to Lillard last year, he moved his focus to getting his teammates involved. CJ doesn't look as comfortable getting others involved. He's a shooter. If he's not shooting good....

CJ had 5 assists. Yeah, he missed shots, but he was the best player on the court tonight for the Blazers.

Leonard is not completely intimidating, but hey it's only been 2 games. Summer League doesn't mean anything anyway.

I was going to say, CJ looked fine to me, and got fouled a few times on shots that weren't called.

I know it's summer league, but the reffing was atrocious.

CJ will be fine. He certainly didn't have a lot of help on the offensive end. It would be nice to see one of these other guys step up.

    Positives:

CJ McCollum is an NBA player
Robinson showed up once he calmed down
Meyers had a decent 4th quarter and had some dunks.
    Crabbe can shoot

    Negatives:
Every player not expected to be on the roster - cut them now
    Barton getting hurt
Barton being a ballhog to the point of aggravation when I'm watching the game
Freeland just doesn't have the athleticism to survive in the NBA
The Lakers summer league roster averaged more in age than the Blazers' real roster last year. What is the point of summer league when a bunch of 27 year-olds are on the roster? It's ridiculous.

Don't you have cable? It's free on ESPN3.com, as well as the free NBA summer league app on iPhone.

Watch the D-League All-Stars. They really hustle their asses off. And they've dusted both LA teams. And if we waive a bunch of our players, they're available! (Remember, you can watch archived games.)

Who gets to sit down with Joel and say "Look. Turns out it wasn't just that you needed contacts..."

I thought the Lakers team I watched today was the D-League All-Stars.

I actually thought we improved. We repaired the first game's weakest players (Leonard and Barton), but developed no strengths (McCollum) for the second game. In the second game, Leonard and Barton came up to speed as average mediocre players, but McCollum didn't excel like Lillard did last year.

In the first game, the boat had holes (Leonard and Barton) and was sinking. In the 2nd game, the holes had been patched, but the boat was dead in the water. Maybe by the 3rd game, the motor (McCollum) will be repaired so we can sail somewhere.

The best Blazer development is that I found a free stream. You guys paid? Ha ha!
