What is your point? Martin was on top of Zimmerman punching him before Zimmerman pulled his gun. Denny's LIES aside about Zimmerman saying he was straddling Martin, it's a lock-solid self-defense. Martin should have just went back home. Instead, he turned back and attacked Zimmerman. Dumb move.

LIVs don't ever take the knee. It seems to be some sort of brain disorder, to not be able to piece things together logically without emotion being involved.

So they fucked with the wrong guy. That's their fault. Shouldn't have trespassed on his property and threaten his family.

Should we start another thread about whatever this other case that has nothing to do with Zimmerman is about?

The only thing in common was a gun.

At least Denny had the sense to leave once it was pointed out that the "vigilante" Zimmerman actually called police, instead of acting like the police and taking the law into his own hands.

yes, otherwise they'll get a gun pointed at them and then "accidentally shot" not out of self defense, but because of an accidental discharge of a firearm.

they fucked with the wrong guy alright. a dumbass who doesn't know how to operate his unlicensed gun when he's pointing it at people trying to intimidate him.

    just like George Zimmerman.

That's what the "victim" gets for trespassing on his property and threatening his family: A bullet right between the eyes.

    Deserved.

Two different people fending off an attacker threatening great bodily harm. Seems pretty similar to me.

In the case of the man convicted, the attacker was TRESPASSING ON HIS PROPERTY.

You're right. The link I provided is worse. The guy had more right to kill than Zimmerman.

again, in your link, he wasn't fending off anyone. he was brandishing his firearm, which accidentally discharged according to his defense.

If this seems similar to Zimmerman's case...well, I guess we'll just have to "agree to disagree".

So you make nothing of the fact they trespassed on his property and were threatening his family?

You can't be serious. Please watch the police interview video from 33:20 to 33:40 and TRANSCRIBE EXACTLY WHAT YOU HEAR. I need to know if you're deaf or retarded.

Denny Neighborhood watch is common all over the country, especially where there is no police patrol.

I can't understand how anyone could trust Zimmerman 100% here. It's his word against Trayvon's. I'm sorry, but if you don't have at least a little bit of skepticism about his motivation to tell lies to the police and in court, you kind of look like a paranoid vigilante wanna be. I mean, you should have every right to stalk "those people" while armed, right?

There was nothing to refute his story + prosecution witnesses were lying/changing their stories.

Please tell me how you can hear that and gather that Zimmerman was on top of Martin. Again, the prosecution never even made that claim.

I don't trust him 100%. There is literally nothing in the evidence, however, to even show this case should have gone to trial for 2nd degree murder. Even the prosecutor was left to relying on emotion in his closing arguments.

We're a nation of idiots, though, so I don't expect much from us. This verdict surprised me, in that the jury actually listened to the evidence, deliberated, and acquitted a man who was in fear for his life while some guy was beating on him.

I already did. He says these words:

Then you ignored that and... waaaait I see. This is pointless because you're a goddamn eight year old. Nevermind.

His own admitted actions warranted a trial easily. When it comes down to it, the only person who was there and still alive is Zimmerman. It's his word against nobody's. The jury needed to decide if he was credible. I can't imagine the prosecution doing a worse job.

To me this comes down to being a classic self-defense and if Zimmerman was justified in using a gun to kill Martin. I will always stand by my opinion that it's absolutely ridiculous that is was justifiable for Zimmerman to kill Martin.

It's a fight. Zimmerman was getting his ass kicked. He suffered MAYBE a broken nose and only minor cuts on the back of his head (certainly doesn't seem like his head was pummeled that hard into the cement), yet he's justified in killing him. Absolutely ridiculous.

This kind of scenario happens every single day, with a lot of it being gang activity. Confrontation, fight breaks out, shots fired, someone dies. The person that does the shooting is a murder suspect and winds up in jail.

    Ridiculous.
