But, we didn't choose Leonard over Drummond. So, why is this even being discussed. We could have had Drummond over Lillard, but that's another discussion. This wasn't a Nolan over Faried type fuck up. Drummond was off the board by the time we picked Leonard. We might was well start bitching that we took Luke Babbitt (16th pick) "over" Larry Sanders (15th pick) in 2010. Man imagine how much better our interior defense would have been if only we'd taken Sanders instead of Babbitt.

I'm pretty sure ROY Damian Lillard is MUCH better offensively than Andre Drummond.

I will agree, however, that Drummond is better defensively than Lillard. He's a better rebounder, too. Not surprising, given his huge size advantage.

My point was someone saying summer league isn't a good indication for a big is silly because there are plenty of bigs dominating summer league, and others playing a lot better than Leonard, so don't use summer league as an excuse. he was horrible last year, and since our last game, doesn't look like he has improved at all

I am not talking about the comparison as like you mentioned. Brainiac said "I don't know the stats, please enlighten us". So I enlightened him. Never once have I said that Leonard was somehow supposed to be as good as Drummond. Read up and you will realize how the convo started. SOmeone said it was a guard league and another mentioned that centers were dominating the summer league. Brainiac chimed in and turned it into me thinking Leonard should compete with Drummand.

HAHAHA I meant Leonard. I would take Lillard over Drummond any day of the week. Sorry for the slip.

In 2 seconds. Both projects, Leonard will probably average more points, but Biyombo will be more valuable to a playoff team

    Interesting question.

Ideally, I would rather trade Lynyrd for a player rather than another project. OTOH, Bismark has the makings of a hard-hat-and-lunch-bucket sort of player. I would prefer that to a 2nd rate finesse big man. We already have LMA and some nice perimeter players.

I would trade Leonard for Dieng at this point.

I just rewatched LVSL game 1 and Leonard's dooming problems aren't his talent, it's his brain. Absolutely nothing between the ears. I don't know how you fix that. I don't think he's been playing basketball for very long though.

I'd trade him for a sign and trade for Dalembert. That's how low my rating on him is now.
