then there's the type that picks on them which is a poster trying to be a "bad boy" and expect some interest/recognition that way. its all very creepy. :MARIS61:
This entire board has embarrassed itself since PDXKass arrived. It's Loserville reading some of those threads.
Could be. I thought she was getting some grief because some guys didn't believe she was being honest.
The long and short of it is that the internet is full of nerds. Lonely men who have no concept of how to talk to women. This is across all manner of internet mediums. If you insert a hot girl, or hell... even a female voice in some places, it will cause all kinds of problems. Some women love the attention. Especially in online games like World of Warcraft or shooters like Call of Duty. These women get attention online that they would never get in real life, so they milk it for every drop they can get. Then there is the whole catfish scenario, where you have men pretending to be women, either for the lawlz, or because they like the attention. You might think it's funny, but I've seen women online break up real life friends, I've seen video games like WoW ruin marriages because of online cheating, and I've seen women destroy communities because they are actively pitting people against one another. I'm not saying any of this about Kass, I'm just trying to give you some perspective about how just the mere sound of a female voice can completely fuck things up online. It's hilarious and disturbing all at the same time.
It's the people who are attacking attacking attacking who are unraveling this place. Who cares why some dude is nice to a chick on the web? It might be cause they wanna be Casanova, but most of the time it's just nice people being nice. That's a good thing. This place is becoming repetitive in many ways.
Sadly O-Live has become much more civil then this place. It was completely the opposite not too long ago.
That poor kid... he never wore a tapout shirt and he never said any of that, but he will be tagged with it for the rest of his natural life.
Sticks and stones. Open the threads and start a separate Babies Board for the few thin-skinned posters.
