I think CJ expected a give and go. Bulls had it covered. CJ shoulda just taken it one on one from the top of the key
You know the game less than your favorite player, Claver. And we just watched him hold onto the ball as the game clock expired, while losing.
Watching this Summer League team, I draw the following conclusions: Clear rotation players: Claver, CJ Will get minutes because the starters absolutely can't play every minute: Leonard, Freeland Will be in and out of the rotation because they will make the coaches lose hair: TRob, Barton DNP-CD: Crabbe.
That looks about right, but I think T-Rob will get his share of minutes because all of our other bigs are mediocre or slightly below mediocre rebounders. We need someone who will hustle and go after the out-of-your-area rebounds.
i say 15, but it's a good 15 miutes which will allow LaMarcus to get some rest, thus prolonging his season/career and our hopeful ru into the playoffs.
That looks about right. I wanted to see more from Crabbe, as he got enough minutes to contribute. His stroke didn't look as smooth as his youtube clips. He's not getting as many kickout looks as he would in the regular season. Maybe that will be his forte. T-Rob showed running the court is one of his strengths. I hope he works as hard on his game as he does in the weight room. Maybe add a little more year after year like Zach did. I don't understand Meyers. Always a step and instinct behind. Might be cured with more experience. Or he just might lack that genetic chip.
Yeah didn't you also say he couldn't shoot free throws? Then he hits how many in a row in the clutch?
We can dream, but remember that Zach was Summer League MVP after one year of minimal playing time at Michigan. Zach and T-Rob are kind of opposites: Zach has zero athleticism but is incredibly skilled with awesome hands. Of course, both of them have tunnel vision.
