The reality being that a good chunk of our bench is getting destroyed by bad summer league teams who have been drafting in the high twenties for years? Well maybe not the suns but lakers and bulls should be getting killed not other way around. This is not a good sign for season. I even have doubts about cj. Jesus if any of these guys get meaningful time we are dead.
Mixum?! Haha call me whatever u want pal but it concerns me to see half our bench get destroyed by 2nd rounders and invites to summer league.
well, the team will still be bad..but at least the bench won't be good but can be better. Last years bench just sucked and wouldn't ever get better. And don't act like you're not mixum. there's a reason your IP addresses are both in the same state.
WHAT SUMMER LEAGUE ISNT GOING OUR WAY? BETTER PREPARE FOR US TO BE THE WORST TEAM EVER! Overreactions about summer league are great, its NOTHING like NBA basketball.
I'm not in meltdown mode, but there are a few things that are concerning, considering we expect quite a few of these players to get meaningful minutes during the regular season.
I staying pretty rational. But, ironically the guy I was worried about the most going into this summer league (TRob) might now be the least of my concerns.
I expect 3 to be primary backups. CJ has looked good. Robinson had a big game today, and has been what I've wanted to see, a hustle big. Will earn playing time by playing hard. And grabbing boards. Leanord....
CJ and TRob are looking fine. Claver is a nice bench player. Leonard is a huge project. Crabbe is..... an unknown at this point.
CJ looks good. Robinson looks fine and will be able to rebound and run the floor. Myers...ugh. He looks so lost. He's got the size and athleticism, but the guy just has no basketball instinct or coordination. But that is only an 8 player rotation. So we're still going to see minutes for a couple other of these guys.
Dorrell Wright, you are forgetting. Lillard/Wes/Nic/LA/Robin CJ/Wright/Robinson/Leonard with spot minutes, IMO, for Earl, Crabbe/Barton and Claver
