Noah is the guy the rumors say Olshey wants. Noah plays very high post on O much of the time. The ball went through him a lot of plays. See his assists and turnovers.

He'll also turn a lot of your missed shots into put backs or 2nd opportunities.

In any case, his teams win a lot of games.

Worst case is we trade him for guys like Theo Ratliff and give them fat extensions. Overpaid role players that clog up our cap. Would that be David Lee? I'd rather just let LaMarcus hit free agency and roll the dice that he walks, better he walks for nothing then we get stuck with a crappy deal. How sad is Phoenix that they lost Amare for "nothing"?

Building around Lillard I think the best-case scenario is trading with Detroit for Drummond or Monroe.

    Age should be a factor.

Listen, this isn't a bad deal at all. It actually is a win win for both sides. Maybe we can get the Charlotte pick too.

There is no possible way they give up Drummond. They would do Monroe in a heart beat.

    This does work.

I seriously doubt the Bulls want to throw in a #1 pick that has a very good shot at being #1 overall in exchange for Leonard.

What was your response? What is a CHold? What's with all the "@"? Who said what to whom? Is the English language officially dead?

    CHold is Casey from blazers.com

The @ is to prompt the twitter account.

I replied "don't like the taste of your own medicine?"

I also said "quick leaving pdx media? Where is the celebration party?!"

Noah's contract expires 1 year after LA's....That guy will walk as soon as his contract is up.....Noah wants to win now (like Aldridge), not be stuck on a rebuilding team.....

I just don't see Noah coming back from CHI for LA...nor him being remotely happy here if he was....

    Mirotic
    Gibson
    Butler
    Snell
    Teague
    Thomas
    picks....
are all intriguing parts that could be added along with either Deng (expires this year) or Boozer (expires in 2015...as several other POR contracts would....)

I like what I have seen from Snell in summer league.....

Mirotic, Snell, Gibson, Boozer and picks (CHA 1st and another 1st??)?

He said he was going to miss "boners" like me. It insinuates he won't have to deal with people like me where he is going.

Denny's offer isn't bad at all. Noah and Lopez at center and Gibson and t rob at PF. Hinrich is a downgrade from Matthews; but we'd probably have more time available for CJ.

The ace is the Charlotte pick. It's protected; but I have a feeling we would have a good pick next season. They won't get top three.

As good as LMA is, I wouldn't trade the rights to Mirotic or give up the Charlotte pick.

For a team that wins enough to have lower end of the draft type picks to refresh the talent, those two things are golden. They're also likely two top 5 kind of picks/players making rookie scale wages. In this CBA, also golden.

Plus, I think the salaries don't match up to make that deal work.

Hinrich is a $4M expiring contract.

I think hell freezes over before they give up the pick on top of a package like I suggested.
