2012 Honda Fit Honda will voluntarily expand a Vehicle Stability Assist (VSA) non-compliance recall announced in April 2013 to additionally include 48,138 model-year 2012-2013 Fit base vehicles in the United States. Vehicles will receive an update for the VSA system software, free of charge. The VSA Honda Fitsystem on certain 2012-2013 model year Honda Fit vehicles may allow yaw rates that exceed certain U.S. Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standards (FMVSS) requirements. This issue was originally discovered during FMVSS compliance testing, and Honda is not aware of any related crashes or injuries. The original recall initiated in April 2013 included only certain Fit Sport models in the US. With this expansion, a total of 91,920 Fit models sold in the US are now included in the recall. Honda will also voluntarily recall 1,659 model-year 2013 Accord vehicles in the United States to replace the fuel tank, free of charge. The fuel tanks in these vehicles may not seal properly at a connection point on the top of the tank, creating the risk of a fuel leak. Honda is not aware of any crashes or injuries related to this issue, which was discovered during warranty repairs. Read more http://www.sportscarillustrated.com/News_2013/K/news13K_1078.html
