The reason that the Yankees dropped injured outfielder Brennan Boesch earlier today, his agent tells Dayn Perry of CBSSports.com, is not Boesch's ability. "The Yankees' decision to release Brennan Boesch is a matter of timing, not talent," said agent Brodie Van Wagenen. "Brennan's rehab on his shoulder is going well and he expects to be full strength and able to make a meaningful contribution to a major league team in August." Wow, So Lillibridge cost us Boesch on 40 man roster. There has to be a trade around the corner, otherwise this makes no sense. They were going to move Joseph to 60 day DL. I honestly can't figure this front office out
lol at the decision making of this team. Lost is not strong enough word to describe this front office.
I just can't believe that a career 207 hitter & a guy playing with his 6th team in 6 years is the best player Cashman could find. I can't wait to see who they find to fill Almonte's roster spot.
I realize we are only fans, but I am nearly 60 years old and the decisions are making the Marlin Execs look like Organization of the Year material. I am sure that every team is leveraging the Yankees in trade talks, partly because they can, then otherwise because they like it. With Bud's parity much like the NFL, so many teams are "still in it" that they aren't selling yet and we need the fix now!
