Oh, and if you get the Shogun game, be sure to get this expansion http://store.steampowered.com/app/201271/?snr=1_6_4__421
TWD is a great game but it is buggy. Telltale is notorious for not fixing problems with games. I invested a lot of time in that game for it to not save or bug out the next time I went to play it and eventually just quit it. Too bad because it is a nicely written and animated game. I think if you buy games "as gifts" you can give them away or sell them later if you don't play them? Correct me if I'm wrong. I've purchased Hotline Miami and some survival zombie game both for about $3 each. If I wasn't away from home I might be playing Dishonored.
If you like C&C games, you might try Starcraft 2. Although the multiplayer games are pretty tough. I play League of Legends pretty often, which is free with DLC to purchase.
I would recomend logging on to Twitch TV and watch some game play live online to see if it interests you. One game that I find interesting is Day Z, great survival game, you get to kill zombies as well as other players.
