I know things are tough but this offense looks like they don't even want to be out there taking at bats. Cano leads that charge since it appears he has found a way to be even more lethargic and uninterested as ever. Even the Mets have found a way to be more exciting and interesting than this pathetic bunch.
Because these players are complete idiots. How does a pro ball player not know that leading off the bottom of the ninth down by one you don't swing at a 2-0 pitch? Especially when you're not a home run hitter.
Thank God I missed the game today. I came home to see a two hit complete game by Archer and I almost lost my lunch. Jeter coming back will be huge but obviously much more is needed than him and Sori.
