I'd have to go with Molina since he actually runs.

I don't understand why Girardi tolerates it.

Which shows that there is no leader in the clubhouse. I am beginning to think that it is going to be a mistake when we give him that big contract. I think he is a good guy, just not a leader. And as we transition from Jeter to whomever, I feel he is not the guy we want in that role.

What amazes me is when I see 39 year olds like Jeter & Ichiro busing it down the line while this lazy bastard practically jogs to 1st base. And the shame is that I think all it would take is just once suspend him for a game for not hustling or pull him from the game for not hustling. I really think he'd get the message. I just don't think ANYONE has EVER reprimanded him.

Cano's lack of hustle has been well documented for a while now. Mushnick has been writing about it for years. It's only recently that Michael Kay has started getting on Cano for it and I'm glad he has. It would be nice for Francesa to ask Girardi just once why it's tolerated.

Good thing Billy Martin isn't around. Jeter is the Captain, leads by example, should put a boot in Canos' can. Girardi I'm sad to say has no stones.
