Crap, if I weren't rebuilding my deck today I'd drive up and join you guys. It's been too long. Maybe I'll be able to make this year's meet-n-greet.
My Question for Story: If a train leaves Portland going 35 mph and another train leaves Chicago going 45 mph how long before LaMarcus Aldridge is traded to Houston? Bonus Question: If Neil Olshey has three vodka martinis with lunch, and Terry Stotts has two Shirley Temples, why do so many Blazers fans think Meyers Leonard should already play like Kevin McHale?
The Novocain is beginning to wear off, so a "slight" bit of discomfort, but, overall, doing great....especially in comparison to what I had endured over the past 24 hours!!! Sitting in the chair, I told the (lady) doc that, while this was probably the worst pain I've ever experienced, I admire the women of world for being so strong where pain is concerned.....and that men are wimps in comparison. She glanced over at her assistant with a wry smile and responded, "Yeah, we bear children. " I immediately looked back out the window and nodded approvingly. nuf said.
Portland's over the cap now that they've signed Watson and McCollum. They have the Room Exception of $2.652 million, but they've already got 15 players under contract. So they could waive Harris to make room on the roster, but we'll see if they do....
47, 13 years, see below for longer answer, accounting, we each paid for our own. I started doing it when I was posting on O-Live and wanted to post viable trade options for the Blazers, but couldn't find reliable salary data on the internet, so I started keeping my own spreadsheet. I started sharing my spreadsheet with friends and with those who were posting on Fanhome (later BBF). Started my website in 2004.
It was a LOT of fun, Jeff! Man, that hour turn into close to 3! Time flew by quickly. We laughed, we cried (OK, no we didn't)....Shoot, I meant to buy the t-shirt on the way out! :MARIS61:
