The Edmonton Eskimo Football Club announces import quarterback Matt Nichols and import offensive lineman Orrin Thompson underwent successful ACL surgeries yesterday morning. Nichols injured his right knee in the first pre-season game of the season against the Saskatchewan Roughriders. Thompson injured his left knee at practice during the first week of training camp. Both are expected to fully recover and be ready for the 2014 season.
