    They checked on Alex Rios who would not wave his NTC. And they checked with the Giants about Hunter Pence.

    Saw that on MLB, I like Rios but think Pence puts a huge charge where ever he plays. Not the most graceful ball player I've ever seen but the man is just flat out good.

    He's a much needed right handed bat. 30 years old. A career 285 hitter. Plays a decent RF & has some pop. This season his #s are 14/51/278. OBP is not that hot .321 but did I mention that he's also 14-14 in SBs. Down side might be the salary. This year he's earning 13.8M
