To provide context, I was called a bigot by Eric. I took great offense and responded in kind. I stand by my sentiment that Eric Millegan is a pathetic excuse for a person.
I didn't call you anything. I was discussing the topic at hand. You were the one who attacked me personally. You don't know me personally. This kind of hateful speech should not be allowed on this forum. There is no context that can excuse that kind of attack. None.

I admit I haven't read through all of the threads, so I'm probably missing something....... But I don't get what was so wrong with what was quoted in the original post? That's not hate speech. That's a basic opinion in re: to his opinion on gay/lesbians/homosexuality. I don't think that qualifies as hate speech. That quote doesn't warrant a suspension. Now, the part where maxie refers Eric... I won't touch that.

As I said...... I wasn't going to touch it. I don't think it's hateful. It's his opinion. It's unkind. It's disrespectful. I don't consider it hate speech, as you initially indicated. I'm not taking sides. Just being honest. I've seen a lot worse in this forum.
I think we see plenty worse all the time. Normally those things get edited by a mod, and occasionally the poster gets chastised via PM. You're expecting too much.
