The Dallas Cowboys are bringing in four players to work out before Tuesday afternoon’s practice at training camp according to a source.

The Cowboys are bringing in three defensive players in defensive end Toby Jackson linebacker Eric Bakhtiari and defensive tackle Bobby Skinner. The Cowboys will also work out offensive guard Rokevious Watkins.

The Cowboys need more depth along the defensive line because of several injuries. The last player to go down was end Cameron Sheffield who will be out at least a few weeks with a groin injury according to head coach Jason Garrett.

Jackson (6-4 260) played in college at Central Florida. Jackson didn’t play his last season at Central Florida because of academic issues and was eligible for the NFL’s 2013 Supplemental Draft. In 2010 Jackson signed with Navarro College in Corsicana Texas and spent only one season with Navarro earning a junior college national championship game MVP against Butler.

Bakhtiari (6-3 250) played in college at San Diego and appeared in three games in the NFL in 2009 for Tennessee and five games in 2012 for San Francisco. Skinner (6-3 298) is from New York and played in college at Montclair State.

Watkins was cut a week ago (July 24) by the St. Louis Rams after reportedly reporting to training camp out of shape and overweight for a second consecutive year. The Rams drafted Watkins in the fifth round of the 2012 draft out of South Carolina.
