Here's Mirotic. Looks a bit spindly, but so did Pau when he first came into the league. Mirotic fits the new breed of PFs who can shoot from anywhere.

Only ironic if Chicago trades him to us for Aldridge.

Looks like the next Dirk. I wonder how he plays if someone is actually guarding him.

Blazers fans would hate him though. He's a good three point shooter. That's just not right.

What was the rumor that kicked off the whole Aldridge-wants-to-go-to-Chicago thing? Was it that we asked for Butler and Noah and they said no way? Or did they offer us something that we turned down?

How is it ironic? Seems more coincidental to me.

Wait is Blazer Brass pursuing this player? How can it be ironic unless Brass actually is trying to get this player?

Simmons mentioned this in his article.

Boozer + Mirotic + charlottes pick + unprotected 14 bulls pick for LMA

That's pretty much what the Bulls would have offered Orlando for DHoward.

    And you know this because?

Of course, they would've been smart not to offer much, given how little time he would've stayed in Chicago.

He knows it for the same reason people here know exactly what the Blazers turned down.

Which is because somebody Tweeted it via a 3rd party anonymous source, so it's supposed to be accepted as truth.

Questions: How worried are the Bulls about the luxury tax? Are they actually a threat to amnesty Boozer, as has been rumored? How long do they have to do that or is there no statute of limitations on amnestying?

Are the Sixers under the minimum limit for salaries, such that they'd actually have to pay a fine if they don't add salary? If so, would they be interested in taking Boozer? Or perhaps Freeland?

The Bulls thinking is to amnesty Boozer after the season. Teams can amnesty one player for the life of the CBA. Teams cannot amnesty a player they acquired after the CBA was signed. So Boozer could not be traded to a team and then amnesty provision used on him by that team.

It looks like the Bulls are willing to and are going to pay the LT this season.
