I got Timmy first, three rings enough said. Second I got KG, most athletic 7 footer in the league. Third I got Brand, You guys are forgetting he is putting up these crazy stats at the height of 6'8''. Fourth I got Dirk, mad range for a PF. Elton cant be the best PF in the league cause he has not led his team to a championship nor won an MVP, when elton does both of those I will consider him being the best.<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (nba supermantist @ Sep 14 2006, 09:07 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}></div><div class='quotemain'>well, 20/10 like 7 years in a row is considered great to me.</div>I forgot to say, he averaged 20/10 for only 5 of his 7 years in the league not all 7 years.

Before that, he was never mentioned in the likes of those players. So my argument is that he needs to have more than one of those years to be considered better than them.

I agree with this list completely, except that KG is 1st. Just move KG to the 1 spot and the rest of them can just move down one spot each.1. KG2. Elton Brand3. Dirk Nowitzki4. Tim Duncan5. Shawn Marionetc, etc.
No way in hell. He is at best 4th right now IMO. KG, Dirk, and Tim are all proven vets. Sure, KG has never made it far in the playoffs but he as also not had the talent that Elton has in Los Angleos. I say that he needs to take his team to the WCF or the Finals and keep up his statistics and keep doing what he is doing, and he will be first eventually.

KG has had the Talent - he just can't win Playoff games. Brand is top 5 but I cant rank him better than that.In no order -TD -KG - Brand - Nowitski. It is impossible to rank these players. For one, each would be great on a different night. Depending on who you are playing on a particular night would depend on who you would take. Well I think so anyway.

The big thing is that Elton Brand had another big man who is a very underrated big man and he gets a load of rebounds. He can play post defense pretty well which helps out Brand quite a bit. That is something that KG never had.
The thing is, Brand is a great player, but I don't consider him in the top tier of players that play the 4 spot. This is how I see the power foward spot in the NBA. It has like 5 tiers of players. The Superstar Tier- This has KG, Duncan, and Nowitzki. As I see it, any list that doesn't have those three in the top three in one order or another isn't very credible and totally innaccurate. The All-Star Tier- This is the tier that I would put Brand in. He is in the class of Gasol, Bosh, and Dwight Howard, Rasheed Wallace, Lamar Odom and Jermaine O'Neal. These guys can lead thier teams perfectly fine, but they just don't have the intanglables that those other 3 have. Middle Level-This is the most of the starters in the league. Players like Chris Webber, Kenyon Martin, Udonis Haslem, Kurt Thomas, Zach Randolph, etc. These guys are the complementry players on your roster. This is probably where most players fall in along with the next one. Great Bench Players-Players that come off the bench and give good minutes. Examples would be Antonio McDyess, Eduardo Najera, Kwame Brown, etc. Scrubs-These are the players that barely make the roster. Dont have to go into detail. I just don't see Elton Brand breaking into that top 3 spot. He is a great player, but not as great as Dirk, Duncan, and Garnett. I really don't care who gets the top spot out of these 3 guys because they are all so close. As I see it, if you put Dirk on the Spurs, KG on the Mavs, and Duncan on the Timberwolves, they would probably do about the same as they do with thier current all star power foward. I don't think you could say the same with Brand, Gasol, O'Neal, or any of the other power fowards in the league. I'd also like to add that I'm considering Amare Stoudamire as a center since that's what he plays that in Phoenix and Shawn Marion as a 3. So in response to all that, here would be my list. 1.Dirk Nowitzki-Had the best season of the big 3. 2.Tim Duncan-Had the 2nd best season after Dirk.3.Kevin Garnett-Still a great player stuck on a bad team.4.Elton Brand5.Pau Gasol6.Chris Bosh7.Dwight Howard8.Jermaine O'Neal9.Rasheed Wallace10.Lamar Odom

Kevin Garnett has had the talent...yeah right...He's been in the league for 10 years and his best runningmate has been Wally Szczerbiak.

That was just a rough season, that was one year, in 10 years KG has never had a very good player to play with for a while, seems like every 2 seasons he has a new #2/#3 option...I don't care who they had for one season it's been a decade of failures in bringing in longterm talent.

Sprewell played in 80 games in 04-05 and averaged 13 ppg.... His game did take a drop though, as he averaged 4 less ppg than the year before.
