Every year, there is a team that flops (doesn't come anywhere close to the expectations given to them by the media/fans). In 2004 it was Minnesota, last year it was Houston, who is it this year?

It might be the Bulls. We dont know. Everyone IS predicting that they'll win around 55 games but they might only win 40-45 games. Everyone is giving them too much hype for the offseason they had and they dont even deserve it. WE HAVENT EVEN SEEN THEM PLAY A GAME!

I think its going to be one of the LA teams. the Lakers really haven't gotten much better but a lot of Laker homers think they are. the Clippers always seem to find a way to let everyone down.New Orleans is also another possibility. they've changed their team around a lot so they have a lot of question marks.

I wouldn't count the bulls bc they will still make the playoffs. I'm gonna go with New Jersey Nets to be different. They are aging, and I feel that VC's attitude will mess it up somehow. this is just a hunch, I won't really defend my argument, so don't everyone just jump on me for it.

Boston and Toronto are both young and inexperienced, and New York and Philadephia are both in dissary. I think they sort of win the division by default. If some how Boston or Toronto click and win, I'd see them winning, but I dont plan on that happening, but I agree with you 100% about them being a letdown. I can easily see an early exit in the playoffs if they make it. The team that I'm going to go with is the Memphis Grizzlies. They play in a tough division and conference. San Antonio, Dallas, and Phoenix are all better than them while the Clippers, Nuggets, Rockets, Lakers, Worriors, Hornets, Jazz, and Kings are right there with them on talent level. With only 5 spots left in the playoffs due to SA, Dallas, and Phoenix being shoo-ins for the playoffs, I'm just not sure if the Grizzlies make it. Plus Gasol is out a few months with his broken foot. They really don't have another great scorer on the team. Eddie Jones, Damon Stoudamire, and Mike Miller are all great 4th and 5th options for a team, but not great 1st or 2nd options. I think they struggle to score early and won't be able to make up the ground come March and April.

I think Miami is the only logical stinker that did well last season. Shaquille O'Neal is another year older as are Alonzo Mourning and Gary Payton, they didn't add an impact FA, it's the same roster as last year. So I have to go with Miami because they are one big injury away from trouble.

When one guys down the other can somewhat carry them.

^^ is that true? so if wade went down how will shaq carry? The wolves, Foye is looking good and can contribute well. They have a week divison. The Nuggets are injury prones. The Jazz is mainly are maybe the best teams to play agianst in there divison

Miami still have their key pieces together and an ever growing Wade. You have a humble shaq who understands now that it's wade team. You have great role players such as haslem/Walker/Posey. Zo is still in great shape. I'd say their still contenders.

It has to be a top team coming off a great year and expected to stay the course. My pick would be the Suns, now highly unlikely but I feel despite added depth, their liable for injuries. Everyone has them being better with Amare's return, and Nash continuing at his level of play. Both are questionable imo, and I think expectations are too high. Like Diesel pointed out though, any injury to a top player like the Rockets last year is a possibility.

The rockets would have been decent last year without TMac but unfortunately Yao also was hurt at times during the season.

at one point the rockets were like 0-13 without McGrady. they would be screwed without him.
