I actually saw the bus outside a restaurant I was eating at in Eugene. I looked around for Ken Kesey and found him. Told him I was another famous person who came from Spingfield High School. I had just done Jesus Christ Superstar on Broadway (i.e. not that famous). He was very nice. Eugene-Springfield rules! http://blog.estately.com/2013/07/17-best-u-s-cities-for-hippies/
I suppose if Mike Rice Jr. attending sensitivity training is worthy of the Blazer board, then this one is too.
I was born in Cottage Grove and lived my childhood in Eugene. It is always been hippie central for Oregon. Ashland is yuppie central.
