Are the Teamsters trying to outdo the Westboro Church morons? http://www.foxnews.com/politics/201...stop-picketing-funeral-homes/?test=latestnews
Not very often, but a hell of a lot more often that I'd expect to hear both sides in an MSNBC article, that's for damn sure. But that's completely irrelevant to my question.
I'm surprised they aren't beating the parents of the kid who died. That would seem to be traditional union strategy.
A judge ruled them to stop picketing. It's in the court record. That has nothing to do with FoxNews. Typical response from a liberal when confronted with the nastiness of unions, though. Blame the messenger.
What you expect to get both sides from ABC, CBS, NBC, or countless others? Oh wait, you won't (typically) get ANY side of a story like this from the mainstream media.
Your question: You ask why they are picketing and you don't think the article should state the reason behind why the picketers are there picketing? Seems to me that's exactly the question you asked.
I'm not a liberal, and I'm glad the judge told this assholes to fuck off... but I also think that a properly written article and good editor would include why the picketers were there in the first place.
I linked the parts of why they were picketing. You could have read the entire article ... I only posted a portion of it in the original post. Did you miss how the Teamsters rejected a 9% raise, per year, over the next 2 years? It's in the frigging article. Do you always make comments about articles being fair prior to you reading the actual article?
do they CHEAT THE COMMUNITY? seriously, who the fuck listens to those whiny protestors. such the biggest bunch of pikers ever.
When they're interrupting funeral services of children because the union's raise isn't enough, it becomes an issue. If the Westboro morons are a national story, so should be the Teamsters.
I read the Fox News article you posted, and you actually posted the entire article from Fox's site, not a portion as a you say. It seems you didn't read it if you can't understand that. The information is not in the Fox News post, it's in the link from the Washington Free Beacon, and Fox News choose to omit the reason why the Teamster were there when they posted the article.
It was in the FoxNews article when I read it. Are you going to continue to blame the messenger, or comment on the actual despicable actions of the Teamsters? I can't imagine what they would be striking for that would make interrupting the funeral of a child acceptable, but that's just me. The explanation actually makes it worse for the Teamsters, IMO. What a bunch of selfish thugs. Parents lose a kid, and they are there laughing at the funeral.
I find it odd that Fox News would have changed what they posted in the 14 minutes in between when you posted it and when I read it. And then you decide to troll me with "You could have read the entire article... Do you always make comments about articles being fair prior to you reading the actual article?" I couldn't agree more. They should have lead off the article with an emphasis on the 9% raise that they rejected, that to me is just as outrageous as picketing a child's funeral. A heading of "Union Rejects 9% raise; Pickets Child's Funeral" is more damaging and accurately sums up the whole article.
