Alot of you are leaving these guys out of the playoff race, but they definately have the potential to make the playoffs.Their offense will be so much greater than last year, and they already had great D-fense the year before. Look at their potential starting lineup.pg-Mike Jamessg-Randy Foyesf-Ricky Davispf-KGc-??That is alot of firepower right there. All of the guys I listed have the potential to get 20 ppg on any given night.
For the sake of all that is KG, I really hope you're right. I'm wondering: can Foye and Davis co-exist?
I thin the only team blocking them from a division title next year is Denver, and if they come up 2nd in their division they can probably get 8th seed. But their division isnt their only problem... look at the teams that are have a good chance of going to the playoffsPhoenixSADallasSactownClippersLakersRocketsMemphisDenverHornetsNow are they better than any of those teams? Only next season wil tell...
I think they'll compete for the 8th spot. here's probably what they're line-up will look likeg- Mike Jamessg- Ricky DavisSF- Trenton HassellPF- Kevin GarnettC- Marky Mark BlountKey bench players: Randy Foye, Marko Jaric, Rashad McCants (when he returns), Eddie Griffin. I honestly don't think they're any better than Sacto, LA Lakers, New Orleans, or Memphis tho. Wow, the west is deep.
G - Mike James / Randy Foye / Troy Hudson G - Ricky Davis / Rashad McCants / Marko Jaric F - Trenton Hassell F - Kevin Garnett / Craig Smith / Justin Reed C - Mark Blount / Eddie Griffin They have a ton of depth in the backcourt and can definatly be a dangerous team. With Kevin Garnett they have a good shot to win a lot of games but we will have to see.
^Randy Foye will get time at SG. I wouldnt be surprised if they sometimes went with the lineup I listed.
Doesn't matter..I just hope KG can finally get something done with the squad now that he has a legitimate team.

I believe they can dethrone the Nuggets, but you can't take away from Denver.PG: Andre Miller / Earl BoykinsSG: JR Smith / Julius HodgeSF: Melo Anthony / DeMarr Johnson / Eduardo NajeraPF: Kenyon Martin / Reggie Evans / Joe SmithC: Marcus Camby / NeneIt will be a season of competition.

Randy is a combo-guard, and they will find time for him at both spots. McCants is out for a long time anyway, isnt he?

Well, a couple of years ago, Minny was a contender for a title but now they can barely make the playoffs. Why should we watch out for them.

Maybe a Marko Jaric trade for a center? Anyone could help, really.
I think they are moving in the right direction actually. Mike James is probably short term until Foye can play pg for them full time. I think KG stays in Minny for the rest of his career. They have a good thing going now, and with a few more adds they could be at the top of the Northwest for years to come. I think it will be an all out battle b/w Denver and Minny next year too. The wolves have a shot at the 4th seed.
True. The wolves have a nice young team. They need a couple more pieces to make a playoff run IMO. They need a center like a Jamaal Magloire or a good young center such as a Hilton Armstrong.

Justin Reed played plenty of minutes for Minnesota when he was traded there. He is in the second unit. he will without a doubt be on the active roster.
