Another rookie supposed to push them to the playoffs. Last year a TWolves fan said they'd make it because McCants and the rest of the talent on the team and I didn't buy it. They won't make it to the postseason in the West. I love KG but if he wants to win he'll get out of there. He's beggining his 30's, time to go into panic mode and move to Phoenix to win one with Amare.
That team would be sick. But we all know he's headed to the Lakers because we all know everyone wants to go there.

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>ricky will play atleast 30 minutes at the 2. right now Justin Reed and Ronald Dupree are backing up the 3.</div> Dupree is on the Pistons this year. He was a free agent and signed in July. But yeah, on topic, I'll watch for the Twolves to barely fight for a playoff spot, and if they do out in the first round. I will wait and see how James and Davis co-exist in the backcourt. But other then that, I don't see them making a scare for other teams. I think the Warriors will be more a threat.

McCants might miss the entire season from what I last heard. Also, Justin Reed is not a PF, he is a wing.PG: Mike James/Troy Hudson/Marko Jaric/a little Randy FoyeSG: Trenton Hassell/Randy Foye/some Marko JaricSF: Ricky Davis/Justin Reed/some Trenton HassellPF: Kevin Garnett/Eddie Griffin/Craig Smith/Mark MadsenC: Mark Blount/Eddie GriffinBut even then, I'm not sure they can make the playoffs. It's iffy. The only team I see them sneaking over is Memphis because Gasol will miss close to half the season. But this Wolves team does have some firepower. Like CB4 said, they have 4 guys that can all score 20 ppg. But I really don't see how Ricky Davis, Mike James, and Randy Foye can all co-exist. In my eyes, all 3 of them are SG's, and they all have a score-first mentality. I don't see how that can really work.
Watching the Timberwolves, I get the impression that it is simply not going to happen. Kevin Garnett has shown an inability to take over games late, meaning Minnesota is going to have to win games within three quarters. I don't see them being able to do that, especially considering the lack of fire within each player (Obviously disculding Keivn Garnett, who is one of the most intense players in the history of the game)
