Miami's only real weakness was center defense and rebounding. Even with that weakness and their second best player hobbled by injuries they won the title.

If Oden is healthy enough to play in the playoffs the rest of the league doesn't have a chance.

No fucking chance. It's a great gamble by Miami because they are still good without him.

Agreed. They may even sit him for big parts of the season just to save him for the playoffs.

Even if he is a monster and healthy he will still ride the pine a lot because of just how lethal Miami's small ball lineup is

Alex Kennedy ‏@AlexKennedyNBA - Prior to joining Miami, it had been 505 days since Greg Oden was last on NBA roster. It's been 1,336 days since he last appeared in a game.

    Alex Kennedy ‏@AlexKennedyNBA -
Greg Oden’s knees have been operated on five times. If he plays, he'll be the first NBA player to return from three microfracture surgeries.

I love how you have to give a guy who hasn't played in 4 seasons rest during the season so he doesn't get hurt. They don't even know when or how much he'll play. He's not even cleared to play basketball.

The chances of Oden being a meaningful player for the Heat are about 0%. He's just another Eddy Curry.

Anyhow, best of luck to Oden. I suppose we're all supposed to feel bad for him when he undergoes yet another surgery this season.

How badly is he going to be booed if they have a game scheduled here and he actually shows up?

Not much because half the crowd will probably be wearing Miami jerseys.

If I go I'll boo the Shit out of him.

If he can stay healthy. The front line of the Heat with Bosh and Oden is almost as impressive as the Heat back court. Or I think it can be.

You think Oden still has potential?

If he stays 100% healthy, granted thats a big if, what kind of potential do you feel he has?

He has plenty of potential to be the next Lexington Steele.
