Rosenthal basically is saying that if MLB and A-Rod don't settle, there will be a huge black eye on the game as a result from the fighting of MLB and A-Rod which would do more damage than good... "Just about everyone has lost their minds in the case of Major League Baseball vs. Alex Rodriguez. The two sides need to settle — and settle before the announcement of suspensions Monday — or the damage to the sport will dwarf the supposed good of punishing the drug cheats." http://msn.foxsports.com/mlb/story/alex-rodriguez-biogenesis-suspension-need-settlement-or-game-will-be-damaged-bud-selig-new-york-yankees-080313
Just saw on MLB that Griardi has A-rod penciled in to play 3rd base tomorrow. Right now I have 58 years of fandom with a 5 gallon can of gas soaking it in a barbecue pit. If MLB does not do anything about this situation tomorrow as promised I will drop a match on it. I haven't been this %^&^&&&* of at the game since the '94 strike.
All I want out of tomorrow is the charges and evidence to be disclosed. Regardless of what then happens between MLB, The Union, Arod , and the Yankees. I want to see what teams have gained an advantage by having MLB decide to linger in its charges. Regardless of what anyone says, Selig took care of his Brewers by getting Bruan done and out of the way. Allowing players to play on teams in the lead or close to WC was not int he best interest of baseball. I am sick of this, and we will be hearing about Biogenesis for at least another year as the Federal Investigation unfolds. And what will piss me off the most is seeing this narcissistic piece of shit in the lineup of a team I love.
...the announcement of the suspensions may very well come tomorrow as has been reported, but I doubt the actual evidence will be disclosed.
I saw that too about Girardi penciling A-Rod in... I guess he has to unless he officially hears otherwise...
