I guess he can play the forward for us and we can sit Antoine down but I just don't see that happening. He will probably go to Denver if he does decide to sign with someone besides Sacramento. They have tradable big men.

Battier or Wells would most certainly come off of the bench. As tough and strong as Bonzi Wells is, he and Battier are no Power Forwards. Battier would be a solid backup, with Wells providing assistance to McGrady from the get-go.

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>Do you think a lineup of Alston, Wells, McGrady, Battier, and Yao would work?...</div>I think that it would work with running teams, maybe. But to sign him would be to increase the logjam at SG/SF. What would happen to Kirk Snyder and Luther Head?

I think Bonzi in the end, winds up back in Sac or in Denver. A sign and trade makes sense for Nugs and could help balance their roster. Kings can't pass up on Bonzi just because they continued on imo. They can basically sign him cheaper and he said he wants to come back. I'll be surprized to see Heat or Rockets land him.

He's not going to the Heat. I doubt he really wants to backup Wade, or play SF and split minutes with Antoine Walker, Kapono, and others. It's probably the Nuggets or Rockets. Both teams would be sick with him on their lineups. He is definately an X factor. A team loves to have a guard who can get garbage points, play downlow, post up, get boards, etc..It is very valuable to teams..

I would LOVE him in Denver, I have wanted him here all season long. We have the big men to make a sign a trade offer.

I would love him in Miami too. We need a real a SG guard who can come off the bench, score, and plays some physical defense. He could get some big minutes at SF as well, it just means Walker will get more playing time at PF. I'm all for bringning him in if we can. I can't think of any other free agent we could use more than him. Reel em in Pat!

I think that the Nuggets or the Rockets will pick him up. The Heat already have a pretty good team without Wells and if he came to Miami, he probably wouldn't get as many minutes as he would if he went somewhere else.

Of these 3 teams showing interest, I think the best fit and most realistic scenerio is Denver, my a good margin. Denver has 6-7 PF's on their roster, and that is way too many. Denver needs a good SG very badly. JR Smith was a solid and cheap pickup, but Wells is so much more valuable. His rebounding is also incredible for 6'5''.I think it works out perfectly. Sacramento needs big men, Denver has too many of them, and Denver needs a SG. Denver is easily the best scenerio, IMO.

I wouldn't mind seeing him in Houston. We would have so many guards though.

Miami would be very deep.

But then Posey and Walker would have to fight for minutes off the bench. It would be a major logjam. Wells would get more minutes, and a more prominent role on either the Nuggets or Rockets, then in Miami, so I doubt he would decide to choose the Heat.

Seems to work well? Do you think either Wells, Walker, or Haslem would be sattisfied with only 24 mpg. Plus, you forgot Kapono. Add him into the mix and there is even less minutes. And do you think Walker only wants to play PF?Wells got 32 mpg last year. Walker got 27, and Haslem got 31. Obviously there would be problems, and controversy if all three only got to play 24 mins or less. It simply wouldnt work out.

Wells would get 32 minutes and Walker and Haslem aren't that great and are probably the weakest link on that team so I don't think they will mine. If they do have problems than trade them but Wells is definitely a better option than Walker.

Walker and Haslem the weakest links on the team? WTF?? They are both very important pieces. Walker scored like 12 ppg in only 28 minutes, and Haslem provides defense, and rebounding. They were both in the starting lineup for a reason. Saying that they are the weakest links is freaking stupid. Thats not true at all. Both would have go get their minutes. It is too big of a log jam, and it would not keep everyone happy.
