Offseason review: Rating the West from Mavs to GrizJust like the one from the east by Mark Stein, here's the west.Link
Most people either rate the Rocket's offseason as really bad or really good (the whole view centers around what they think of Battier and Gay). Stein seems to think it's pretty good. By the way, he does point out one good thing that most people miss<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>Duncan, Tony Parker and Manu Ginobili are the only Spurs under contract two seasons from now, meaning they'll soon have a chance to reload yet again.</div>Most people say that the Spurs are too old, but all the vets they've signed are only signed for a few years. They could be loaded with young guys in a couple of years if they do well in free agency.

Buford, they can put a great team together, sure they got lucky with Tim Duncan 10 years ago but they know what they are doing. I really like what the Spurs are doing...They won't waste tons of money with a 33 year old Duncan and have average seasons, they will most likely cut ties with most of the players and start the process over.
