Are not shining on Yankee land this year. I remember a thread over on the old espn board and it was basically don't get to excited this team is so flawed. That was true them but we held out hope, hope to get people back healthy, acquire talent. It just wasn't meant to be. Our record after the all star break sums it up.

...the thing to me that is so laughable is that many of the very same soothsayers who predicted this would be a bad year are the same ones who are now complaining on a daily basis...I mean if things pretty much turned out the way someone predicted, why should they sound surprised and why should they be disappointed?...comical to watch.

With all the injuries one after another, I knew this team wasn't playoff bound BUT.........No way did I expect things to look this bad.

The bottom line is the injuries are still no excuse, this team should be better, not leading the division better but still, much better, and lot of players on this team are just not getting it done, including Mo.
