If Nova pitches as he has lately the Yankees have a chance. It was pointed out on MLB (Murti) that one "bright spot" in the Yankees poor performance in Chicago was that they got some home runs. They are playing 21 of the next 30 in Yankee Stadium if they want to get back on track. In baseball one never knows but with this group unless a miracle appears the best hopes I have at this point is that they can be spoilers. I saw on MLB that out old buddy Farnsworth was DFA by Tampa Bay.

Hell I'm hoping they even get this game in. Besides I'm real curious to see how the NY crowd reacts to A-Rod. I'm hoping for a long & loud chorus of boo's.

Isn't it sad that we have to feel that way against one of our own. This team is dysfunctional in so many ways.

Holy shit, I've got to say that I am very disappointed. Being a lifetime NYer I didn't think there were THAT many stupid people. I cannot believe how many morons actually cheered for this disgrace to the game.

Did your sound pick up the audio cheers that they added in the stadium to cover up the boos. And the Yes propaganda machine keeps it right in tune by saying "Sounds 50/50.

Nice strike outs Arod with runners on 3rd. And yes doesn't say a word. How He and Soriano have got to get that run in between them. Story of this year runner on 3B, no outs, K, K, out...

IT IS ALWAYS SAD WHEN A PLAYER IS MORE IMPORTANT THAN THE GAME ITSELF.

Can someone please explain to me why Stewart is hitting in that situation. Girardi, you have your boy Wells in the dugout with you, did you forget, but leaving Stewart in there is a joke. We should have at least 3 more runs in this game.

I followed the game on a smart phone in a lounge full of Tampa Bay Band Wagoners. Everyone knows I'm a Yankee Fan so I got bad last night. At any rate was pleased with Nova and left at the top of the 9th. Upon arrival I turned on the game, saw the score tied and my vocabulary went south. You knew Overbay couldn't bunt to save his life but the Yankees caught a break, ditto Stewart striking out. Gardner got it done, the guy may not be a super start but he's a damn good ball player. Yankee offense was poor again so I read, Arod did just as I thought, stink up the night.

How many times do we need to see Stewart fail before he's pinch hit for?
