    Id you are counting SF as a backcourt position then Kidd, Carter, and RJ.

Then Jamison and Haywood. So Jamison wont be playing in the backcourt.

    I agree with Kidd, Carter, and Jefferson being the best

    Guys, a backcourt just consists of PG's and SG's. SF, PF, and centers are considered frontcourt players. So if you are saying New Jersey, it's not Kidd, Carter, and Jefferson. It's just Kidd and Carter.I am going to go with New Jersey as well. They are easily the most talented and Kidd is always on an All-Defensive team. Kidd is easily one of the most well-rounded guards in NBA history, and Vince lights up the scoreboard any given night. They are exciting, extremely talented, and they get the job done.

    It doesen't matter what you consider it. It IS just the guards and the froncourt is forwards and center. [IMG] I'd still pick the Pistons though. Billups is a top 3, hell maybe the best, point guard in the league to me. He can do everything pretty well. Hamilton is a very good scorer and a decent defender. They definetly have the best backcourt. I'd pick them over the Nets because Kidd is getting older. He isn't as good as he used to be and he did have that microfracture surgery too. He's in the declining stage while Billups is right there in his prime still.[homerstatement] If you count the benches then it's gotta be the Suns. Nash, Bell, Barbosa, Banks and if you count James Jones a guard.[/homerstatement}

    If Don Nelson can get the Warriors to play to their potential, a Monta/Baron/JRich backcourt can be extremelely dangerous. All of them are fast, can shoot, can get to the rack.

At least you better not.New Jersey, Detroit are top two easily. I like San Antonio with Manu, Parker, and Finley. Dallas with Terry, Harris, and Josh Howard are nice. Don't forget Hinrich, Gordon, and Nocioni in Chicago.Sacramento is amazing! Artest, Bibby, and Bonzi Wells!I think a Golden State backcourt with Pietrius instead of Monta Ellis would be better overall.

Monta Ellis was averaging around 15 points, 5 boards, and 5 or so assists when he would get 20 plus minutes in games. Pietrus has been limited by hand checking rules and has fallen in love with three point shot lately. He's been incredibly inconsistent as well, one day getting 20 points and playing killer D, the next taking 7 threes, bricking all of them, charging into defenders and getting called for useless fouls. Ellis can defend both the SG and PG and can play both positions. He's incredibly quick for any player and strong for his size which makes mismatch hell for other defenders. I'd take Ellis over Pietrus any day right now.
