Me: A huge % of the guys who went from HS to the pros are among the best who ever played
Strawman: Duncan went to college and he's among the best who ever played

No I'm not using stats. I'm using drive, ethics, eye test and leadership qualities. His head is way more valuable than Damon

Lillard is not overrated . . . nor would I trade him for Kyrie Irving.

Unless he learns to play some D, I would totally trade him for Kyrie.

Says the person who doesn't seem to realize Kyrie was hurt ALL of the last 3 seasons. Nope, he was not healthy in any of them.

And don't think for a NY MINUTE that Kyrie has ANY Defense. Because he does not. He is EQUALLY as bad as Lillard in this department.

I'll take the healthy kid (bringing up the broken foot Lillard's JR season is foolish) over the one who is injured every season.

Here's why you don't trade Lillard for Kyrie (even if the deal was available):

    1. Contract. Kyrie was a #1 Pick and his salary is WAY higher than Lillard's. (he was picked a year before Lillard. we wouldn't start negotiations for another year)

    2. Same Upside. I don't see either having more upside than the other. (feel free to debate this)

    3. Kyrie seems more laid back while Lillard seems more intense and has more of a chip on his shoulder (small school/big school syndromes).

It's funny that a Nets blogger would have that opinion, because if there is an overrated "elite" PG in the game, it's Deron Williams and his career PER of 19.

Not to mention "elite" Deron Williams' rookie PER of 12, and 2nd-year PER of 17.

It's ok to call someone overrated and not dis them. The Lillard hype is everywhere, and I think all the guy is saying is that he has only played a year.
