Noticed that Romine is in there today. Once dangerous with a bat in his hands then he started hitting. I would like to see him get more playing time and if improvement is steady see Stewart in a backing role.

I agree 5545, I was going apeshit las tnight when Girardi let him hit twice without pinch hitting for Stewart. The more I watch Stewart, Overbay and Wells the more frustrated I get. I have completely changed my opinion of Cashman. Then having to watch Jackson, I know we got 40 hr's a year from Grandy, and he is a good guy, But age, money, defense...

Anyone remember Bonderman, sure you do, still whacking the Yankees 7 years after '06. Lyle was yesterdays dud, todays stud as the Yankees got another butt whipping. Poor performance from the bats, and the entire staff caught Hughesitis. Pettitte vs Verlander tomorrow we can only hope.

The Yankees should seriously consider giving Hughes next start to someone else. Who? it really doesn't matter. Because I can't see ANYONE doing any worse.
