Only difference. Jordan has a career per of 28 to Kobe's 23.

Why is it surprising that Kobe would have some of the same moves? He grew up idolizing Jordan.

Another Kome thread on the Blazers board. Great.

Kome is driven, there is no questioning that. He has spent thousands of hours in the gym copying Jordan's moves.

No doubt this was put together by some Flakers fan trying to equate Kome, a tin imitation, with Jordan.

    Jordan is the GOAT.

    Kobe - not so much.

    This is interesting.

Kobe just his style reminded me a lot of Jordan. I think Jordan was more natural and polished. He didn't seem to labor as much as Kobe on each move. For everything Jordan did in that footage, It seems like it took Kobe twice the effort.

This is why Jordan is the superior player. Physically he was superior. There is one player in the league today that exceeds him in this department and that is LeBron. But MJ has nothing to worry about because LeBron will never be the player MJ was.

Cool vid. They have a similar physicality for sure. But I'm sure there's been a hundred players around the 6'6" range that look a lot like Jordan when they shoot a turnaround jumper.

Unsurprising. Kobe patterns his game after MJ and is a tireless worker. I'm sure you could probably find clips of LeBron, Durant, Melo, etc. having similar moves also. The fluidity in which MJ did it is amazing; and not to mention he could be grabbed and held unlike todays game. I think MJ realizes that Kobe will never be on his level because Kobe is learning from him.

I think MJ speaks out (negatively mostly) about LBJ cuz he is scared LBJ can surpass him.

Oh I really think your wrong. Do I sense a little Kobe hate? Why don't you go find some of those clips for us? Kobe is the 2nd most epic player in NBA history while Jordan is #1.

He is not even the greatest Laker of all time. That topic is debateable. But I don't believe he is in the top three and maybe five.

Kobe isn't even the greatest player of his generation. Duncan is.

It's frustrating how blind hate for a rival flushes out all common sense.

I can't say some of these anti-kobe comments are that outlandish. Don't know if I agree with them. But you could debate the idea of Duncan being superior to Kobe and I think Shaq was probably the superior player when they were both there. Is he the better Laker over time? Probably not.

The point is it is amazing how those video clips match up perfectly. The way their legs are when they jump, where they are on the court, etc. It's astounding.
