Depends on your cholesterol level. You should talk to your doctor but one of the things he told me to cut down on is cheese . . . it was like a stab to the gut.
Cows make milk to feed baby cows. It that milk really suited for humans? Ideally we'd be eating cheese made from human breast milk. At least that's the thinking as I know it.
Kinda kidding. I finally just purchased health insurance. It's currently processing through underwriting. I haven't had any for the past four years with this job. Previous to that, the 20 years I was in the corporate world (with good health insurance), I faithfully had an annual physical. Cholesterol was somewhere in the 150's at that time.
I don't think cow's milk cheese is "bad for you" if you aren't lactose intolerant, but it is rather high in fat, often saturated, so enjoy in moderation.
