I sure won't be buying a new one. I've had the PS3 for a few years, I bought it after the price had been cut in half. Mostly I use it for movies and Netflix. I've played a few games, like Madden, but I do most of my gaming on the PC. I don't really see the point of buying the new one either.
And that's what we hated about Live. Which is why nobody really plays Live anymore. 2K has always been better than Live. Even when it was on Dreamcast.
Yep, i'm beginning to think my ps4 money should go to one of these: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814130938
Agree x100 You get so much more out of a computer, and you can swap out the parts as they go obsolete. I do 99% of my gaming on the PC. I use Netflix, I watch movies, and used to have a TV tuner but I don't have a cable hookup in my basement where I have my office set up. Consoles are only good for watching shows and sports gaming, that's it.
Yes WE. I had every Live game since "Lakers VS Celtics" on Sega Genesis. WE (the live community) left that game as soon as 2K came out and have pretty much been there since. It's a much better game and there was a mass exodus from EA's Live series.
Yep. FPS gaming should only be played on PC. It's an absolute joke on console. Mouse and keyboard FTW! But sports gaming is a joke on PC, so it's a wash.
I cant do PC gaming... at all. Maybe its cause I'm not as "hardcore" but eff sitting at a desk to play a game when my ass could be sitting on a couch to play a game lol. *edit, I fully get it, that graphics are better on PC and you can do this with pc, and that... so not really going to try to argue that point with you (whoever felt the need to respond with that) for me its about convenience, which I get from my console.
I dont think so for this one. I believe sports games are on new and old consoles for at least 2 years. Probably longer as I swear I still saw PS2 sports games a couple years ago
then I have cables going across my living room to tv, cause PC wouldnt be next to TV, plus gotta have something for the mrs to do while I hog the TV, etc. I do have a wired 360 controller for roms on my laptop which is cool though. But for me the payoffs of PC gaming (better graphics, etc) just arent a big enough payoff for me personally to go through the extra hassle.
Never got the appeal of racing games. I play them maybe 3 times and then I'm bored. That just seems like an arcade game to me.
