I would like someone better than freeland. Possibly freeland and crabbe for a better big. I'm not talking anything "OMG"; but someone that's really physical. I want 6 hard fouls

Why would anyone trade for Freeland and/or Crabbe? Who are you going to get that is better?

Maybe you can help out. I'm wanting a physical player. Nothing spectacular, but someone that will put someone down if they go to the rim.

Like I said earlier, I don't see why we would go into camp with so many guards... but who knows. :dunno:

How about T-Rob? Or give Freeland a chance would ya.

Well it has become a guards league after all.

Watson already signed for the vet minimum for 2013-14, so he'd be the candidate to be waived. Problem with that his that he is still on the books for next year, so Olshey basically just gave the guy $1.4 million for never being a Blazer. I don't think Paul Allen would be too keen about that situation, if the idea is to just sign Juwan Howard, who would basically be sitting on the bench in street clothes 99% of the time.

Well, the thing is, Watson was signed to be a mentor, but Mo Williams can essentially fill that same role (probably better).

We don't really have an old vet big man. LMA is still only 27. Lopez is young. We don't have a Kurt Thomas, Marcus Camby, Juwan Howard type guy. I think we could benefit from that.

I would like more than a young 2nd year player to come off the bench when we need him. Leonard and t rob are both young.

I would be ecstatic if this happened.

(Sidenote: TradeMachine works properly again! And according to it, this trade would hurt BOTH teams.)

You're an injury away from having to give big minutes to a rookie if you don't have Watson.

    FWIW

As much shit I talk about Leonard, I would really hate to lose him in a lateral move like this. Yes we are better now; but are we better in the future? I say no.

I dislike Leonard's weakling style of play, but confidence will make him better.

I wonder if Charlotte would deal Haywood for Freeland and Barton/Crabbe.

Haywood isn't anything special but he can give you 15 quality minutes imo. Plus he has postseason experience.

Very probably, because Haywood hasn't been good, basically ever, and seems to get in fights with his teammates.

He wouldn't have to be good for us. Just get in there and hold the fort down for a bit while people rest. He is fully capable of that imo. Idk if Freeland is and we have to get rid of one of the young 2 guards eventually.

True. But you have to have at least 13 on the roster and CJ might not be the coach's first choice all the time.

Depends. Udoh has been described as "a no-stats all-star" (because of how much better the Warriors used to play when he was on the court) and "a defensive savant". Leonard has been described as "a waste of space who might as well be 6'2" for all the use he puts his height to" and as "Channing Frye without the rebounding and defensive intensity".

(Admittedly those last two were me.)

Keep dreamin'. I think confidence will just make him shoot more.
