I would say if no one is familiar with the name (and I sure as hell am not) it was a pretty good investment by them.
It just cracks me up that this company, ODS, in order to better connect with it's customers, "rebranded" itself, after much internal reflection, "MODA", which means something in Latin that only one out of 100,000 of its customers (maybe) even know what it means. And worse, what it means is stupid. And it's a horrible name. Nice 'rebranding'.
This is horrible... First mo Williams takes #7 AND NOW THIS!!! Dame is seriously the face of a completely new generation of blazer basketball. Rip rose garden
I agree it is the worst sound arena name in sports. The ODS center would be much better. Enron field sounds much better.
Congratulations on destroying anything unique and untouched about the organization, boys. "Next level", indeed.
Worse than Chesapeake Energy Arena? I think there are a lot people here that are more upset about the Blazers selling the naming rights than they are actually upset about the name. I like that it's just one, short name, that doesn't immediately say large commercial corporation. I like it better than Staples center.
