There is still so much dead weight on this roster Logan- what good is a lefty reliever that can't get lefties out. Overbay- An automatic out that has always worn down in August and September Wells- Just a waste of a roster spot Joba- nothing needs to be said. Hughes- see Joba when 20% of your roster is shit, then you pay the price... And we are paying it.
Majorball - I have to agree on everyone you just mentioned. Overbay is fine against RH pitchers but they should have gotten a platoon 1st baseman and I do not mean Wells. Joba I am through with and wish someone would trade for him during August but I know that won't happen.
I remember Reggie Jackson once made a statement that when you're a Yankee you make a little more money, dress a bit better, eat a bit better. Joba doesn't look like he's missed to many meals. I lost what respect I had when he got that DUI and dumped all over Yogi. Yogi was more player in his big toe than Joba will ever be.
Aside from the fact that he just totally sucks (sorry Bos) His entire demeanor on the mound just rubs me the wrong way. I get the impression watching him that he thinks he a lot better than what he is.
I am one of the few who blames the organization more than Joba. He got fucked. He was a stud got left out to dry by those migets on that fatefull night and was never the same since.
