I love my temperpedic mattress. It was expensive, but definitely worth every cent. I sleep all night and usually never wake up with back aches

I slept on one several years ago when it was hot out. It seemed like the foam mattress made it hotter, because I sank into the foam more than a regular mattress. I've read that they've made improvements to the foam since then.

Other than that issue, I slept like the proverbial baby on that mattress. Very comfortable.

I have been wanting to know the same thing. I am buying one for me and my wife at Christmas. So I guess I believe enough to buy one but I won't know for sure if it is worth it until sleeping on it for some time. Will get back to you in February or so.

By the way, the prices are more but, you can get one online at Amazon.com for a good price (much cheaper then your local mattress store). I would try one out in the store first though if you can.

They have some companies that will send you a mattress and you have 30 days to try it. If you like it, you buy it.

I think you should ask yourself a couple of questions first

    1. Are you a freak about bed bugs and dead skin? If so, get a Memory Foam Mattress

    2. Do you get hot when you sleep? If so, do not get a Memory Foam Mattress

You can get things to help with the coolness, but it really does sleep warmer than a high end mattress. They are super comfy.

Tis true, as I referenced in my post. We got one for our guest room (I can't convince myself to replace our bedroom mattress that is perfect for my back issues), and the bounce-back is nonexistent. BUT, you figure out how to work around it pretty quickly.

It's really something to keep in mind when deciding on a mattress. We got some Sheex about a month ago, and they do wonders. If you are a warm sleeper, you should look into them. Not for the budget shopper though, but oh man are they worth every cent. Also got a cooling pillow that is a God send.

I learned a long time ago that the art of spending money is easy. make a list of what you do and how long you do it, and spend the most money on the thing you do most. If you watch a lot of sports or movies on tv, then buy a big as tv with a high hertz, etc. if you spend time in your bed watching tv or whatever, invest in the best mattress money can buy.

It is a very simplistic and easy way to get through life
