    Ha, I knew Rosen couldn't write an article without kissing Phil Jackson's ass!

    More On-Topic: basically fans and even much of the media only has access to box scores, which is obviously limiting. Not a lot of great insight here, but it is interesting to see the players he calls out.

    Not that great of an article, simply says don't look at one stat and say by that stat alone I draw XX conclusion and that conclusion must be right. There are so many different stats and ways to view players now a days that it really is easy to find what you want to argue then find the stats that back that argument up.

    Charlie Rosen: all stats are meaningless and all players suck. Such profundity!

    The only Rosen articles I can ever remember being worth a hoot were those about coaches (other than his drooling over Phil).

    Rosen is just cataloguing known infrmation, like an encyclopedia, not an original position piece. Nothing wrong with that.

    Most stats are over rated. Many things a player does simply doesn't make it to any stats log.
