…and no problems with MLB playing the continued media game using Matt Lauer to deliver their message? This trading barbs through the media is absolutely embarrassing for all parties involved and they all continue to play. I could expect this from the individual (Arod the idiot), but for MLB and the Yanks to continue this nonsense is ridiculous.
I agree the media stuff needs to end. If you think the Yankees make themselves look good with all of this you're crazy.
Hopefully MLB putting forward this offer and having team ARod back down from it will quiet things down on both sides. Its going to obviously continue to be a circus for many months to come but perhaps it will slow down a bit. MLB's offer was more towards the PED stuff and the Yankees should follow up with a similar document for them to sign in regards to his medical history with the hip injuries. Shut them up on that as well. After that, all sides need to take it to the hearing and get it done and out of the media.
