    News to me too, Eastoff. I had three friends, who weren't that stable when they took some of the bad ass LSD in the 70's, that never really came back from their trips.

    One of them took a hit of Sandos, went to hide under the covers of his bed, saw God, and shit the bed. He was never the same after that, and killed himself about 7 years later. (and, No, I'm not making a case that you will kill yourself if you take LSD. Most can handle it just fine.)

    One of the others semi-permanently wigged out after putting liquid LSD drops in his eyes. (It was made for making blotter acid.) The third guy took a 35 year voyage after an OD on blue barrel acid.

    Not a close friend, but I know of another guy that shot a hit of Sandos, jumped on his hog and drove off the road and hit a telephone pole going 80. Lights out.

    Because you are seeing shit that isn't there. That doesn't just happen without what I would assume are big chemical changes in your brain. Like say a schizophrenic hallucinating.

    It kind of surprises me and I have done quite a bit when I was younger. One of the reasons I stopped was fear that it could do long term problems. I also know a guy who took a crazy amount and was never again the same.

    I think there is a lot to learn from tripping and do think its a worthwhile thing for most adults to try, given the right time, location, friends, quality acid and stable psyche. But regardless of what any study says, I believe there are also risks that need to be known. But with some knowledge, it's a awesome experience.
