The NBA owners have voted to reimburse the Oklahoma City Thunder a sum of $8 million for the gap between Kevin Durant's contract under the old collective bargaining agreement and the new on that was agreed upon in December of 2011. Durant's deal became a super-max due to his presence on All-NBA teams. The $8 million is half of the gap between the two contracts for Durant. https://twitter.com/ZachLowe_NBA
Interesting what that 8 mill could have got the Thunder in it's original market value? 8 mill was the more then the diff between what Thunder had offered and what Harden wanted (max) what FA could have been had for a lil more cap room?, what kind of GM tricks could Presti had pulled off? Despite any "could have been" that could be thought of, I still prefer the current makeup of the team.
