Philadelphia Flyers captain Claude Giroux had surgery on his right index finger after getting injured on a golf course in Ottawa. Giroux sustained tendon damage when a golf club shattered and splintered into his finger Thursday. It's unknown what caused the club to shatter. "Although there were no broken bones, there was some damage to his extensor tendons in his finger," Flyers general manager Paul Holmgren said in the statement. "He is expected to have a full recovery in 5-6 weeks." Read more http://espn.go.com/nhl/story/_/id/9572266/claude-giroux-philadelphia-flyers-hurt-golfing-5-6-weeks
